How long have you been into Crossfit?  I’ve seen some of the Crossfit game footage on TV over the past couple of years, but actively training for about 6 months.

What made you start Crossfit?   I wanted to try something different and more challenging than my previous gyms experiences.

Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement?  rowing, dumbbell snatch, sled, bench press and cleans

Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement?  Anything that involves overhead squats and burpees

Biggest achievement in CrossFit to date? Knowing that I continue to improve each week.  My back squats and dead lifts are more than I ever thought could lift/ squat.  There are still some achievements  I would like to do i.e. Handstand on the wall and rope climb.

Most embarrassing or funny moment in CrossFit? Embarrassing and painful – After about 2 months of starting Crossfit, we were doing box jumps but my legs decided to stop working and I landed on the box with both shins instead of my feet, it made such a loud noise, I pretended it didn’t happen and I started doing step ups instead.

What has contributed to your success in the last month?   It’s a combination of trying to do a little bit more and push myself more each session.  Also building up confidence and trying to get out of my comfort zone with skills and movements I am not strong or comfortable with.

In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience? Love it!! Great coaches and members!
I was a little scared to try Crossfit, having my second baby only 10 1/2 months before I joined and having chronic lower back issues.  When I started my training, I started right at the beginning with the basics and the coaches and members at Crossfit Hurstville have been very supportive and encouraging. Movements are always modified if need be and it’s great that the coaches are always watching our technique to make sure we are doing the movements correctly and safely, which you would not get from other commercial gyms.  I am so glad I joined and definitely recommend Crossfit Hurstville to anyone.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
