How long you have been a member at CrossFit Hurstville? 8 Months

What motivates you to get to the gym everyday?

The gym is my “me-time”.  Between being a mother to my 3 wonderful girls under 6 and work (and life!),  “me-time” is rare.

What are your current training goals?

To complete the CFH Kona triathlon with our team of 3 within the capped time. In the gym, I am aiming to improve on pull ups, double unders and handstand holds.

Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement?

The Rowing Machine

Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement?

Burpees… Can’t pinpoint why – it’s just everything about them..!

What has contributed to your success in the last month? 

I do my best to consistently attend classes and have some awesome coaches and friends at CFH who have been generous with their advice and time.  I have also learned a lot from the monthly skill sessions (including doing my first handstand on the wall!). My husband (who recently joined CFH) and I enjoy CFH together.

In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience?

Prior to joining CFH, I had not done any meaningful physical exercise for at least 7 years and I didn’t know anything about crossfit!  I chose CFH for the 530AM session time and I’m glad I did.

 

From day 1, I felt welcomed by the CFH coaches and community. The coaches’ support, guidance and attention to detail at each session has guided me on my exponential learning curve. The program is quality and well thought out – I have never repeated an entire workout session at CFH since joining.
 
All of my expectations about strength and fitness improvements have been exceeded in my first 8 months. This has given me the confidence to participate in an ironperson event (a personal bucket list item) to be held by CFH.  CFH is definitely a gem in this local community!

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
