How long you have been a member at CrossFit Hurstville? 20 Months
What motivates you to get to the gym everyday?
I would say that my motivation stems from all the progress I have made in the past 20 months. I recognise how unfit I was and how I wasn’t very efficient at any sort of CrossFit movement. I know how much I have improved in that time period, I am fully confident and continue to back myself to be consistent because I know gradual improvement will soon follow.
What are your current training goals?
Improve on my Toes-to-Bar, achieve a 150kg deadlift, and aim to consistently train for 4 days a week.
Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement?
Handstand Push-ups, particularly because of all the hard work I’ve put into the movement.
Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement?
What has contributed to your success in the last month?
Having the right mentality to improve, having great friends both in and outside of the gym, and most importantly having a supportive gym environment that backs you 100% of the time.
In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience?
CFH provides the opportunities for me to get better at CrossFit exercises, whilst the coaches and other members of the community provide the moral support and guidance needed for me to succeed. I find it both satisfying and rewarding knowing how much stronger, fitter, and more proficient I have become.
