Sports you played growing up? A bit of everything; gymnastics, netball, touch footy, swimming and athletics.
How did you come across CrossFit and how long have you been doing it? I’d been training at a regular gym for awhile and was becoming bored and unmotivated. I started trying out workouts and then bit the bullet and found a box near my area, now I’ve been training for a year and a half.
What do you like most about CrossFit? A new challenge everyday and the feeling of accomplishment after finishing a workout that you didn’t think you’d be able to do.
Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement? Any gymnastic movement.
Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement? Thrusters.
Biggest achievement in CrossFit to date? I wouldn’t say I’ve had a big achievement just yet but love seeing the small changes that occur gradually over the weeks.
What has contributed to your success in the last month? Consistency, I thoroughly enjoy training and look forward to it everyday.
In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience? CrossFit Hurstville is a great community. You feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door, everyone supports one another and you’re always guaranteed plenty of laughs. The coaches are enthusiastic, motivating and do their best to help you improve. Can’t thank Crossfit Hurstville enough for creating an environment that allows me to enjoy my training as much as I do.
