How long have you been into Crossfit? 10 Months

What made you start Crossfit?  I felt like I had plateaued with my regular training and a few mates had joined the gym so I thought I’d give it a go. I had always liked high intensity training in a group environment.

Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement?  Running, Rowing, Deadlifts, Rope Climbs

Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement?  Overhead Squat, Snatch, Thrusters

Biggest achievement in CrossFit to date? Strict Ring Muscle Up, Completing the Open Rx.

Most embarrassing or funny moment in CrossFit? Getting laughed at during every stretching/mobility exercise.

What has contributed to your success in the last month? A lot of running in the WODs and taking the coach out for a beer . Nah I guess being consistent, setting achievable short term goals and motivation and feedback from coaches and others within the gym! Working on my mobility has also been a big one for me.

In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience?

It has definitely been a fun and challenging environment to train in. The coaches are great at teaching good technique and helping you work through your weaknesses to get the best out of yourself! Everyone motivates each other and there is always time for banter and a good laugh which is important!
