It is approaching that very exciting time of the year where the weather starts to get warmer, and we all start thinking about getting our body in great shape for summer.

Although we are huge believers in being consistent, and living a healthy lifestyle all year round, we also know how hard that is for people with demanding jobs and family commitments, among other things.

That is why each year in September, we kick off our annual Health and Fitness Challenge. Every year we look to improve our challenge even more successful for our participants and 2017 is no different. We are excited to announce the dates for our challenge this year, and cannot wait to witness more amazing transformations within our community.

Challenge Dates

July 1st – Aug 12th:    Early Bird Registration ($99)

Aug 13th – Sept 9th:  Late Registration ($119)

Sept 17th:                    Pre Challenge Health Survey 

Sept 23rd:                    Initial Weigh in (6am – 9am @ CrossFit Hurstville)

Sept 27th:                    Nutrition seminar (7pm – 8pm @ CrossFit Hurstville)

Sept 24th – 30th:        Consultation with Health Coach

Oct 11th:                       Shopping tour (7pm – 8pm @ Woolworths, Mortdale)

Oct 29th:                      Mid Challenge Health Consultations 

Dec 2nd:                       Final In Weigh In (6am – 9am @ CrossFit Hurstville)

Dec 9th:                        In House Games day (8am – 12pm @ CrossFit Hurstville)

Dec 16th:                      Presentation and Christmas Party

Features of this years Challenge

– Professional pre and post Body Composition Scans with In-Body Australia

– Nutrition Seminar and optional shopping tour with our in house Dietitian Hiba Jibeile from “Should I Eat This?”

– Individual team categories with Prizes in each category

– Placement in one of three Challenge Teams under the Guidance of Health Coach Paul, Dave or Bianca

– Team T-Shirt with each registration

– Initial and ongoing consultation with health coach

– Buddy system within each team increase motivation and accountability throughout 10 weeks

– 5 CrossFit Open style Fitness Tests contributing towards individual and team points for the Challenge

– In House games day to round out challenge and finalise team points

– Christmas Party and Presentation of challenge awards and prizes
